New rental homes in Zelhem on a unique location

Zelhem gains new rental homes on a special spot: the site of a former car dealership on the Doetinchemseweg. Edwin Blokker develops a sustainable, future-oriented housing project with twelve new rental homes.

The conversion of the existing building results in seven spacious family homes with gardens and five modern apartments, partly aimed at singles. Solar panels and a heat pump make the homes energy-efficient. Future residents choose their own finishes for bathroom, kitchen and floors.

The project specifically targets people who often cannot access regular social housing but for whom buying is not feasible either – offering new opportunities for residents of Zelhem who want to stay local.
